- Every pitch posted on the club's LinkedIn page is added to the tracker, and its prices are then updated automatically several times a day.
- Entry price: the share price stated in the pitch itself. Each pitch is tracked from the last market close before the post, and its benchmark index from that same close.
- BUY = long; SELL = short (gains when the price falls). The position is held until the end of the stated horizon, then frozen.
- Returns include dividends and are in each stock's own currency: a euro stock is compared with the S&P 500 without converting euros to dollars (no FX effect).
- Benchmark: the S&P 500 Total Return index (dividends reinvested, like the stocks), for every pitch. Each pitch also shows how it did against its home market index (DAX for Germany, STI for Singapore…); except for the DAX, those home indices leave dividends out.
- Club portfolio: equal weight in every open pitch, rebalanced daily, with daily returns compounded (time-weighted). Adding a new pitch therefore doesn't move the curve. A pitch leaves the portfolio when its horizon ends.
- P&L figures assume 1,000 invested in each pitch, in the stock's own currency.
- Prices are refreshed during the day, so the latest price can be an intraday one until the market closes. An orange dot marks a stock with no new price for a trading day or more (market holiday or data delay).
- US stocks also show their latest pre-market or after-hours price (in blue, marked PRE or AH), with the return the pitch would have at that price. The club portfolio gets an after-hours estimate too: positions with an after-hours price move by it, the others stay at their close, equally weighted. The S&P 500 has no after-hours price, so the comparison stays at the close. It is for information only: all returns, the portfolio and the comparisons use official closing prices. Yahoo Finance prices can be delayed by up to 15 minutes.
- Annualised returns are only shown once a pitch has been held for 3 months: over a few days they are meaningless.
